He was predeceased by : his parents, Max Dotzauer and Nellie Grootenboer Dotzauer. He is survived by : his significant other Shirley Lucille Hostler; his daughters, Diane Evans (Eric Taliaferro), Jan Dotzauer and Lori Galiano (Frank Galiano); his grandchildren, Sean Evans, Kimberly Evans, Ria Galiano Brucchieri (Angelo) and Frankie Galiano; and his great grandchildren, Rosie and Violet Brucchieri.

Due to Covid-19 a streamed memorial service will be held at the Warwick Memorial United Methodist Church on Friday October Oct 23, 2020 at 1:00pm.
