With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles R James of Port Monmouth, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dolores James and Willie James; his niece Cathy Dalton; his wife Debbie; his friends, Isla, James, Kelsey, Liam, Owen, Delaney, Braylynn, Mara, Hunter, Alexandra (Ruan), Morgan, Ally and Rosa; his brother Bill (Lynne) of Punta Gorda, FL; his son Chuck; his niece Kristen; Trisha Murphy (Shawn), Charles W. "Chuck" James (Jennifer) and Elizabeth "Betsy" Toal (Eric). He was also cherished by Pop-Pop Chuck's grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home (1735 NJ-35, Middletown Township, NJ 07748). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (19 Cherry Tree Farm Rd, Middletown Township, NJ 07748).
