He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Morris Kassof and Sophia Kassof; his wife Arianne Scholz; his sister Rhoda Kassof-Isaac; his daughters, Annie, Arlen Hastings (Tom) and Anita (Josh Neiman); his grandchildren, Deja Kassof, Sara (Dan Hayes-Patterson), Kevin Hastings, Sophie and Daniel Neiman; his great grandchild Jordan Carroll; his nephew Jeffrey Isaac (Sophie Clarke); his great-nephew Elias Isaac; and his grandson Julian Harned.
