She is survived by: her husband Robert Eldredge Wells; her daughter Robin Elizabeth Wells; and her friends, Tex Allen, Joyce McEwing and Deborah Jordan. She is also survived by her two daughters.

Generous, she would pay for a distant relative's groceries, or send a donation to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
