He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Heitzmann and Lula Heitzmann; his former wife Ruth Steinmetz; his wife Marilyn Heitzmann; his children, David Heitzmann (Carol) and Laura Ulrich (Paul); his grandchildren, Trevor, Paulie, Kelsey and Charlie; his stepchildren, Bruce Davies (Susan Marcantonio), Mark Davies (Lidianny Barga), Eric Davies (Trevor Davies) and Nancy Davies (Brad Schwartz); his stepgrandchildren, Kyle, Lucas, Nadia, Elliot, Sage and Elle; his sister Gail Hunt; and his cousin Mary Bea Kingwill.
