She is survived by: her children, John M. Thompson, Minyette D. Thompson and Ashanté Thompson; her grandchildren, Brandi S. Best, Ahmad T. R. Best, Tajah S. Best, Bryell I. Wheeler and Tyler M. Owens; her great grandchild Ahyan T. Best; and her sibling's children, Richard Daniels, Paris Daniels, Chad Briscoe and Berlin Daniels. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
