She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Hardy and Floyd Hardy of Surrey County, VA; her husband Theodore A. Wright, Sr.; and her son Theodore A. Wright, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Barbara J. W. Howard (William); her sisters, Ella Ellis of Waverly, VA and Edna Hardy of Philadelphia; and her grandchildren, Tahira W. Mack, Maisha Howard, Zyanya Wright, Matthew Howard and Adam Howard. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
