He was predeceased by: his wife Kay; his brother Bernard; and his parents, Reginald George Trotter and Prudence Hale. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Stephen Pallrand (Rachel) and Nannette; his grandchildren, Eli and Cora; his siblings-in-law, Jean and John (Helen); his sibling's children, Rex (Eliza) and Tory (Tibor Vaghy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, John, Thomas (Stephanie), Andrew (Annemarie), Marie, Philip, Claire and Martin; James, Damien, Felix and Lily.
