Irene Polakoff Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Polakoff (Princeton, New Jersey), who passed away on September 11, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Julius Shklarin and Dora Shklarin (Okun); her sister Beatrice; and her children, Donald R. Polakoff MD (Karen) and Susan Zeveloff MD (Barry). She was also cherished by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was adoring great-grandmother "GG 'Rene" to Hallie (age 5) and Derek (age 2) Schwartz, Los Angeles; Mason West (age 1), NYC; and a baby soon to arrive to Robby and Steph.
