Rogerson (Eunice) of The Villages, FL and Alan M. Rogerson (Chrysa) of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Jennifer Azzano (Chris), Betsy Wolf (Derek) of Danville, CA, Johnny D. Rogerson (Christine) of Howell, NJ and Jason Rogerson of Ewing, N. J; his great grandchildren, Allison of Chicago, IL, Steven Azzano of Stanford Univ, CA, Emmy Wolf, Drew Wolf of Danville, CA., Jerry and Jake Rogerson of Howell, NJ.; his wife Elizabeth; and his son Jerry B. Rogerson.
He received his B.S. degree in mathematics from Case Institute of Technology in 1951, a PhD in Astrophysics from Princeton University in 1954 followed by a post-doctoral fellowship awarded by the Carnegie Foundation.
