He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Petrone and Alice Rousseau Petrone (Rousseau); his wife Jean R. Petrone; his son John F. Petrone Jr.; and his sisters, Delores (Jim Vandergrift) and Shiela Zalvino.
He is survived by: his sons, James (Carol Petrone), Jeff (Leigh Petrone), Judd (Ginger Petrone), Jason (Kathleen Petrone) and Gail Petrone; his brother Tom; his sister-in-law Ellen Petrone; his sister Sandy; his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Towne, Frank Zalvino, Carol Ann, Fred Ingram, Larry and Betty Rowles; and his grandchildren, Jaclyn, Ryan Gardner, Jaime, Akira Yamamoto, Dean, Caroline Petrone, Kelsey, Bobby Warshaw, Chris, Nicole Petrone, Brent, Todd, Jillian, Jordan, Judd Jr., Eva Mae, James, Jaxon and Travis. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
