He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Theodore and Eleanora Marie Koestering Fischer; and his brothers, Frederick E. and Richard A. Fischer. He is survived by: his wife Esther; his children, Elizabeth Kay Fisher, John II and James Andrew (Sandra Anne); his granddaughter Katherine Alida Fisher; his sister Patricia Allen; his stepsister Kathryn Miesner; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Fischer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
