He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marta Alvarez and Ruben Alvarez; his son Edward Giovanni; his granddaughter Karla; his wife Maria Luisa Alvarez; his daughters, Michelle Alvarez and Karla Pray; his grandson Max Pray; and his son-in-law Marshall Pray.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Epic School, a school for students with Autism, where his Grandson attends.
