She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Lucien Simon "Sy" Marchand; and her children, Michael, Deborah and Sarah.

The pandemic made people appreciate more passionately than ever before the tracts of land she helped to protect and preserve and the hiking trails she helped create.
