Shinobu Asano Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shinobu Asano of Princeton, New Jersey, who passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Yamamoto and Hisae Yamamoto; her husband Dr. Akira "Aki" Asano; and her siblings, Yuri Nishimura (George), Ayao "Al" Yamamato (Helen) and Kinzo Yamamoto.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Princeton and NJ; her sons, David of Easton, CT and Gary (Debra) of Marquette, MI; her granddaughters, Megan and Mallory; and her brother Tetsuo Yamamoto (Hiroko). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in her name to either The Michigan Dental Association Foundation (http://www.foundation.michigandental.org) or to the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, CT (http://www.maritimeaquarium.org) To plant Memorial Trees in memory of.
