She was predeceased by: her parents, King George Lewis and Annie Bell Lane Lewis; and her sisters, Brulah Lewis and Mildred Lewis. She is survived by: her brothers, George Lewis of North Carolina and Dennis Lewis (Linda) of Maryland; her sons, Kelvin Lewis (Aretha), Edwin Applewhite and Gregory Lewis Sr. (Sandra); her aunts, Eva Mae Rountree of North Carolina and Addie Mae Daniels of New York; and her grandchildren, Marquita Curry, Najla Johnson, Quil Applewhite, Gregory Lewis Jr., Aniyah Lewis, Terrell Thomas, Jennifer Johnson and Randy Bondurant. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
