He is survived by: his wife Barbara Vett Rose; his children, Michael Rose, Douglas Rose, James Jernigan (Jennifer), Mark Jernigan (Renee) and Rebecca Rose-Wood (Michael); his daughter-in-law Dorothy Rose; his nephew Michael Perise; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Rose-Wilson of Jimmie, Jason Rose, Alex Rose, James Jernigan Jr., Samantha Jernigan, Daniel Jernigan, Joseph Jernigan and Lyla Wood.
