We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2020, at the age of 101, Maria M. Luis (Rahway, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Francisco Luis; and her siblings, Guilherme, Manuel, Teresa, Teodora, Milagres and Lourdes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tereza Martins and Fatima Luis; her son-in-law Jose Martins; her granddaughter Harriette Szilvasi (Andrew Szilvasi); her great grandchild Gavin Szilvasi; her sisters, Gertrude Vaz and Inelia Brasil; her niece Ana Coughlin (Michael); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexandra and Kylie.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Maria's name to honor her unwavering giving heart.
