He was predeceased by: his parent Faustino Costa. He is survived by: his husband Luisa Costa (Rodrigues); his children, David Costa and Anthony Costa (Angellica); his grandchild Ethan; his parent Emilia Costa (Lopes); and his siblings, Joseph Costa and Emily Wagner.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
