He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Richard (Tara) of Rahway and Rachel Munoz (Ivan) of Rahway; his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jeremy, Matthew, Jaclyn and Brooke; his sisters, Jane Mahon (Thomas), Judy Eger and Kathy Eger; and his nieces, Elena Pathak, Kate Cirulli and Alicia Gorton.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans in his memory.
