In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Carol's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She is survived by: her brother Bill Douma (Carol); her sons, Tom Waldeck (Marcie) and Ken Waldeck (Sandy); and her grandchildren, Greg Wyrick, Dan Waldeck (Lauren), Tyler Waldeck, Kurtis Waldeck and Jessica Harte (Ryan).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at the Redeemer Cemetery (90 Chapel Rd, Mahwah, NJ 07430).
