He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul C. Sauerland and Elisabeth Sauerland Sr. (Klein); and his sister Elizabeth Faller. He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Ann Sauerland (Schomp); his children, Debra Stillman of Mahwah, NJ and Richard C. Sauerland of Readington Township, NJ; and his granddaughter Kate Stillman.
