He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmen Lieuwma and Kaatje Lieuwma (Matteman); his wife Lien Lieuwma; and his son Ronald Lieuwma. He is survived by: his daughter Simone Lieuwma (Ron Papaleo) of Middletown, NJ; his daughter-in-law Andrea Valente (late Ronald Lieuwma); his grandchildren, Julia, Nicolas Lieuwma of Wellesley Hills, Adam Lind of Brooklyn, NY and Rachel Cousoulis (Corey); and his great grandchild Chloe Cousoulis of Point Pleasant, NJ..
