She was predeceased by: her parents, Liu Tzu-Liang and Liu Lei Pei-Chen; and her husband Li-Chieh Szema. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Szema (Denise Monte) of East Setauket, NY and Katherine Szema (ChongMin Kim) of Shrewsbury, NJ.; her grandchildren, Preston, Grant Kim, Allison and Austin Szema; her brother William Wei-Lin Liu (Chia-Ling) of Northridge, CA.; her nephews, Chung-Huan Liu (Carolina Moraes) of Palo Alto, CA and Zhong-Xin Ricardo Liu (Amy) of Champaign, IL.; and her great-nieces, Julianna and Elisa Moraes-Liu. She is also survived by her parents, younger brother and elder cousin after her father.
