He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby DePonti (Boger); and his siblings, Josephine Thompson, Rachel Cannella and Peter DePonte. He is survived by: his children, Steven (Trish) of Red Bank and Susan (Howard DeGeorge) of Toms River; his grandchildren, Steven (Krysta Chaplin, Matthew) and Brian (Shannon DeGeorge, Michelle); his great grandchild Sam Angelo DePonti; and his siblings, Vincent DePonte of Florida, Dolly Graman of Lincroft and Marie Foster of Red Bank.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent in Angelo's memory to the Union Hose Fire Company, 161 Shrewsbury Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
