He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Melicia and Anna Tanaway Melicia. He is survived by: his wife Joan Melicia; his children, Michael, Mark, Garrett, Lauren, Procopio, Lesley and Mazzilli; and his sisters, Isabelle Morgan, Carol and Chanowich.

He sat by her side as she lived with Alzheimer's but he loved her daily and deeply.
