We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2025, at the age of 95, George F. Doherty Jr. of Red Bank, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George F. Doherty Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Doherty and Elizabeth Doherty; and his wife Doris Moody. He is survived by: his sons, Mike (Robin) and Bill (Heather); his grandchildren, Tom (Betsy), Maggie Seckar (Marek), Matt, Leah Scanlon (Brian) and Abby; his nieces, Jean Gaughan (Dan) and Allison Tortorete (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Teddy, McKinley, Marcus, Madelyn and Jaclyn.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James R. C. Church (94 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701). A burial will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (100 Chapel Hill Rd, Red Bank, NJ 07701).
