Walter E. Pienkowski II Obituary
In loving memory of Walter E. Pienkowski II of West Long Branch, New Jersey, who departed this world on May 31, 2025 at the age of 82. Walter leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Pienkowski and Walter E. Pienkowski; and his sister Charlene Pienkowski Parker. He is survived by: his daughters, Elena M. Pienkowski of New York and Kristen M. Fitzgerald (Daniel B. Fitzgerald) of Fairfield, Connecticut; his granddaughters, Quinn, Keira and Shelby; his close friend Diane McCarty; and his sister-in-law Joan Shields.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home (85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank, NJ 07701). A prayer will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 6:45 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Michael's RC Church (800 Ocean Ave N, Long Branch, NJ 07740). An entombment will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location.
