He was predeceased by: his parents, David Alexander and Frances Alexander (James); and his siblings, Mattie Belle Jackson, Mary Young, Judith Evans, Robert Alexander, Grover Alexander and Cleveland Carter.
He is survived by: his brother David Anderson Alexander; his wife Edith Alexander (Perkins); his children, Susan Alexander, David Alexander (Sarah), Todd Alexander and Karen Alexander (Kurt); his daughter-in-law Pat Letke; his grandchildren, Ella, Lamine, Zora, Jamie, Noah, Ava and Audrey Rose; and his siblings, Carrie Wright, Charles, James, Thomas and Herbert Alexander.
