He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Regina E. Hertling; his children, Robert B. Hertling, Jr. of Charlestown, RI, Ray Hertling (Krissy) of Brick, NJ, Patty McLaughlin (Jim) of Wall, NJ and Lorie Fischer-Smith (Ray) of Toms River, NJ; and his grandchildren, Matt, Tommy, Eduard, Maura, Rob and Alex.
