Sanders, Jr. (Donna), Matthew Sanders (Irene) and Dawn Bennewitz (Richard); his grandchildren, Justin, Casey, Chelsea, Tiffany, Jessica, Kristen and Kelsey; his great grandchildren, Aubree Lynn and Stevie Rae; his siblings, Bobby Sanders, Diane Sanders and Janice Schesney; and his parents, Laverne Sanders and Theodore Sanders.
