He was predeceased by: his son Joseph Laverty; and his parents, Lena Knicley and Frank Knicley. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Knicley (Corbett); his daughters, Sharon MacWilliams (Jerry), Mary Laverty, Kathy Palait (Knicley) and Karen Palena (Scott); and his brother Robert Knicley (Marilyn). He is also survived by grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
