He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Chiodini (Bob), Joseph (Laurie), Betsy Hornung (Bill), Gerry (Susan), Andrew (Beth) and Christopher (Elizabeth Monaghan); his sibling Barbara Russel; and his stepsiblings, Catharine, Charles, James, Pat and Rosalie. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
