He was predeceased by: his daughter Cassidy Ann Helmken. He is survived by: his daughter Katie Helmken (Dorothy) of Hopatcong, NJ; his sister Gayle Lynn McDonald (Stephen) of Staatsburg, NY.; his nephew Stephen McDonald; his daughter Mikayla; and his wife Courtney.
