It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Norment (Roselle, New Jersey), born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on May 16, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Wright and Roselia Wright; her husband Preston; her brother Robert Wright; and her sister-in-law Eulalie Wright.

She is survived by : her daughter Dionne Yvette Ware; her grandchildren, Dana Jasmine Ware and Deandre Preston Ware; her sister Ruby Van Kline (Wesley, Sr.); and her nieces and nephews, Wanda Bullock (Elton), Tonya (Thomas) of Washington, Patricia Lewis (Jamar), Wesley Jr. and Evan Van Kline (Melinda).
