She is survived by: her mother Evon Ellis Battle; her sisters, Kisha Necole Hairston (David Sr) and Chantell Denise Williams (Vashon); her siblings' children, David L Hairston, Jr. (Dana), Jasmine Evon Hairston, Dejah Monae Williams, Marissa Anne Hairston, Kaelaan Naomi Williams and Davon Benjamin Williams; and her cousins, Deloise Cox, James Ellis Jr., Timothy Watson, Cynthia Bangila, Malcolm Ellis, Lorenzo Ellis Jr. (Helen), Norman Ellis (Hope), Savannah Lee Spearman (Terry), Travis Spearman, Jean Nesbitt (Jimmy), Janel B. Nesbitt, Jimmy McQueen, Defonda McQueen (Jessica), Zetta McQueen (Greg) and Tyrone Gamble (Edith).
