With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marva E. Goins (Roselle, New Jersey), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025 at the age of 78. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Marva may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie Spikes and Henry Hayes Womack; her sister Melba Howard (Henry Hayes Jr.); and her husband Lorenzo "Larry" Goins. She is survived by: her son Kalon Goins; her brother Henry Hayes Womack Jr.; and her sibling's children, Alisha Ann Marie Bussey, Cherylaya Hughes and Zaaire Bussey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the G. G. Woody Funeral Home (206 E 8th Ave, Roselle, NJ 07203). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
