He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilton Biddle Waters and Margaret Mosley Waters; and his great grandchildren, Ellie, Molly and Liam.

He is survived by: his wife Dale Redfield Waters; his daughters, Laura Waters and Amy MacQuarrie; his brother Mike Waters; his grandchildren, Lauren, Victoria, Andrew, Spencer and Ciaran; and his great grandchildren, Caroline, Gabriela, Ava, Nicholas, Lilith, Cecelia and Mary.
