He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Thomas Halikias and Margarita Sanchez Halikias. He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his sons, Jason Thomas, John Richard and James Lee; his siblings, Katherine Montgomery (David) of Ridgewood, NJ and Tom Halikias (Jess) of Lisbon, Portugal; his sister-in-law Andrea Luker (Dave) of Monmouth Beach; his siblings' children, Margarita Montgomery PhD (Nina), William Montgomery, Caroline (CeCe), Thomas Montgomery, Charlie Ann Halikias and Hudson Rose Halikias; and his great-niece Reya. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Church (30 Ward Ave, Rumson, NJ 07760). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jay's memory to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation and Stephy's Place Support Center for Grief and Loss, Red Bank, NJ.
