He was predeceased by: his spouse Reable; and his child Charles Jr. "Rusty". He is survived by: his children, Diana Blade, Deborah Kennedy, John Kennedy (Joyce), Roger Kennedy and James Kennedy; and his sibling Anna Triplett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bellmawr Lions Club, 490 Dewey Road, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
