She was predeceased by: her child Stacy. She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Crifasi (Carol), Patty Ganc, Danny Crifasi and Shaun; her grandchildren, Christian, Kaitlyn, Samantha, Cody, Victoria, Brianna, Katie and Chloe; and her sister Doris Ward. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations in Joan's name to St Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St .Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
