He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel "Faye"; his son John III; his grandson Bob Jr.; and his sister Marie Burrows. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Eksterowicz (Bob), Colette Tyler (Ed) and Kathy MacKinnon (Dave); his grandchildren, Shelley, Lauren, Michael, Eddie, Jeff, Derek, Kayla, Jamie and John IV; his great grandchildren, Tommy, Julianna, John, Cade, Cole, Payton, Quinn, Eddie, Averie, Ella, Janet and Mike; and his siblings, Helen McCarthy and Joe Koch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
