He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael and Josephine; and his sister Rita. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his son John M. Jr.; his daughter-in-law Laura Schina; his grandchildren, Christopher and Madelynn; and his siblings, Thomas (RoseMarie), Maria Leati (late Carmen) and Michael Jr. (Lisabeth Belinn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
