He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Girtain, Sr. and Mildred Noble Girtain; and his siblings, Charles Davis, Albie Davis and Darlene Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Caldwell Girtain; his children, Donte Girtain (Desiree) of Quinton, Jeremy Girtain (Jean) of West Deptford, Rhonda Lopez (Joe) of Vineland and Dawn Hasher of Quinton; his sister Sandra Drezgal (Walt) of Quinton; and his sisters-in-law, Stella Davis of Woodstown and Hazel Davis.
