He was predeceased by : his mother Mary Green Henson; his stepfather Leroy Henson; his aunts and uncles, Frances Wardlow, Bertha Cuff, Anna Young, Daisy Jones, Harry, Franklyn, Ross, Charles (Arthur) and Luther; his granddaughter Kristen; and his great grandchild Jason.

He is survived by : his wife Marilyn; his children, Tanya Green Savage (Paul) and Barry Jr.; his grandchildren, Letisha, Kymbreia, Candace, Aliyah, Barry III, Inez, Shaun and Danae; and his great grandchildren, Jamyla, Lailoni, James, Jaleel, Elijah, Jamar, Mia and Corea. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
