She was predeceased by: her parents, Hippolito Mateo and Mercedes Mateo; her former husband Lionel Izquierdlo; and her husband Manuel Alvarez. She is survived by: her children, Ena Elizabeth "Lisa" Izquierdlo, Frederick Izquierdlo of Parlin and Kizzy Alvarez-DeSantis (Rennie); her grandchildren, Nichole Izquierdlo, Rennie DeSantis, Jamie DeSantis and Arianna DeSantis; and her brother Octavio Mateo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
