He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Rizzo and Louise Rizzo (Spina); his brothers, Joseph Rizzo, Richard Rizzo and Anthony Rizzo; and his adoptive son Joseph Rizzo.

He is survived by : his sister Louise Pellegrino; his wife Rosemary Rizzo (Fiore); his children, Vincent J. Rizzo (Christina), Rosanne Leathem (Ted) and Michael Rizzo (Adam Pecoraro); his grandchildren, Haley, Michaela, Brayden, Natalie and Joseph; his great grandchild Saint; and his pet Cooper.
