Mecca (Scotch Plains, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on April 10, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mecca and Virginia Marie Mecca; and his wife Eleanore. He is survived by: his close friend Alex Kleinert; his children, Mark, Brian (Sue), Dennis (Sammerah), Steven (Bo), Paul (Patricia Hanigan) and Patrice Eannucci (Bill); his sister Virginia Mecca; his nephew Murray (Julie); his grandchildren, Anthony, Charlie, David, Nicole, Doug, Samantha and Erin; his great-nephews, John, Chad and Alex; and his great-niece Amanda.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, private services have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home in Fanwood.
