With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest J. Johnston (Secaucus, New Jersey), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on September 27, 2018 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother William Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Johnston (Mulligan); his children, Debra (Frederick Sylvester), Diann Johnston (Robert Charles Entwistle) and Douglas (Rosemarie Johnston); and his granddaughters, Lauren Sylvester (Jason Stadnik), Jennifer Lennon (Joseph Lennon) and Nicole Sparacio. He is also survived by wife, children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
