With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paterno A. Manrique of Secaucus, New Jersey, who passed away on October 31, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amparo Manrique and Lorenzo Manrique; his son Butch Manrique; and his siblings, Erothida M. Batuyong, Donelio and Lorenzo Manrique.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Manrique; his children, Anthony Manrique (Caroline), AnnMay Wentzel (David) and AnnCarol Zumpano (John); his grandchildren, Jaden, Emelee, Jacee Manrique, Alyssa, Joshua Wentzel, Peter John and Vincent Zumpano; and his sisters, Porfiria M. Bernardez and Aurora M. Corpuz. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, close family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mack Memorial (1245 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus, NJ 07094). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception RC Church (1219 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus, NJ 07094).
